An Ecotopes landscape, more often than not, is quite a bit different from those of the neighbors. Our landscapes are ecologically dynamic, generationally-shifted, postmodernized + sustainable. The structures we build are threaded into, not isolated from the native systems that evolved here over thousands of years. For our clients, that means lifting much of the burden of sustaining resources + maintenance services.
Landforms + Waterflows
The contours found in the regional landscape inform our approach to constructed landforms + waterflows. Ecotopes' innovative terrain surfacing strategies improve hydrological conditions on any site, essentially programming the landscape surface to slow down stormwater + provide improved infiltration of rainfall into the ground.
Steel Fabrication
The outstanding structural performance of steel can be utilized to create terraces, infinity edge planters, fountains, shade structures + just about anything else. The patina of aging steel also provides a desirable aesthetic value. In addition to an exceptional material lifespan, steel is arguably the most highly recycled construction material available. |
